Corrida de Lamborghini - pre event

Time is going fast lately, it's only a few days before one of the most important Lamborghini events in Europe is taking place on and around the Salzburgring in Austria ... but we still took the time to show a taste of things to come by putting three stunning Raging Bulls outside the world renowned restaurant of Chef Alfons Schubeck in Munich.

Naturally he proudly posed between these Italian made exotics, the stunning Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder took center stage between two Racing Bulls, needless to say these beauties drew a lot of attention while being parked outside the restaurant, a great opportunity to talk some more with the gathered members of the press that were invited to this small pre event get together we set up.

Afterward we moved the cars to an equally impressive site ... the Blancpain boutique, a place where our two Racing Bulls feel right at home, they even show some of these amazing watches proudly on the front hood.

People could get a quick glimpse on how exactly these magnificent manual watches are built while enjoying a nice glass of champagne and some small refreshments ... something that we will also do at the Corrida de Lamborghini event next weekend, we will have a Blancpain 'studio' where you can admire these pieces of art in the watch making world while enjoying even more refreshments by Chef Schubeck.

If you haven't already got your tickets you should hurry to our site www.corrida-de-lamborghini.com and get them before we run out, and while you are on the site, why not register with your very own Raging Bull and get a chance to drive your own Lamborghini on the famous Salzburgring circuit after an in depth briefing by one of our well known race drivers ... people that spend their professional life behind the wheel of these high power, super exotic race cars.

Make sure to visit us at the Corrida de Lamborghini on September 4. to 5. 2010

Press release

Corrida de Lamborghini - 3-day event from September 3rd until September 5th 2010 at the Salzburgring, Austria. For all Lamborghini sports car drivers and race car enthusiasts. Opportunity to win a luxury Blancpain watch worth EUR 20,000. Interesting program with race taxi, helicopter flights, guided tours in the Salzburgerland and exquisite catering by famous award winning chef Alfons Schuhbeck

Early morning, September 3rd 2010, the Salzburgring in Austria ... the silence is sending shivers through our spine ... suddenly we hear a distant roar getting louder with every heartbeat ... in a flash it becomes almost deafening and we recognize this brutal sound as the symphony of one of the most legendary V12 engines ever created by mankind ... while a stunning Lamborghini thunders by we are left in awe as the beat of the Raging Bull disappears as quickly as it appeared ... in a split second the bullfight has begun !

Get ready for the 'Corrida de Lamborghini' and join the Brotherhood of the Bull. The Lamborghini racing car manufacturer Reiter Engineering and its partners, namely Blancpain, have put together one of the most elaborate events for Lamborghini drivers and motorsports enthusiasts ever seen in Europe. From September 3rd until September 5th 2010, Reiter Engineering will stage a three day event on and around the renowned Salzburgring in Austria that will bring together some of the most stunning Lamborghinis from all over the world, combining both race cars and road cars from every era in the legendary history of Automobili Lamborghini SpA. Visitors and participants can get a gaze on cars from the Golden Sixties right up to the latest and bravest 21st century super cars, all 'made in Sant'Agata' !

Automobili Lamborghini SpA will join the event in Salzburg with its specialists for After Sales who will give you professional advice how to keep the lacquering and leather of your bull in shape, or its official merchandise shop ArtiMarca. But the Corrida isn't only about show. As the event will be hosted at one of the main race tracks in Europe it would be squandering to miss the opportunity to sit behind the wheel of a Raging Bull yourself as a passenger.

Every registered participant can drive his/her own Lamborghini on this track and participate in the 'Battle the Time' competition that offers the opportunity to win an astonishing prize : the Blancpain L-Evolution Flyback Chronograph worth EUR 20,000 and finished in carbon fiber, a material found in many parts of the current Lamborghini cars. All you have to do is complete a few laps around the Salzburgring matching your times as closely as possible. That's right, it is not about speed this time, but about taming your Bull as best as you can.

Blancpain, the world renowned Swiss based watch maker is the official partner for the Corrida de Lamborghini. Blancpain's solely mechanical watches are the exquisite art of Swiss watch making and have been acknowledged by the New York based 'Luxury Institute' as the most luxurious ones on the planet.

However the Corrida de Lamborghini isn't about exotic cars only, during the event the participants will also be able to experience the culinary delights of one of the greatest chefs in Germany, Alfons Schuhbeck. Alfons Schuhbeck has been awarded "Chef of the year" and has been holding onto a Michelin star since 1983. Every participant can be assured that the meal will be heaven on earth, probably almost as good as driving a Lamborghini for the first time. Above all, Alfons Schuhbeck will also be giving cooking classes and inaugurate the participants in the secret world of exotic spices.

The program at the Salzburgring will be completed by several other events. The participants will have the opportunity to book a helicopter flight and get a 'bird's eye view' on both, the stunning Salzburgerland with its picturesque mountains and deep blue mountain lakes but also the race course where the raging Bulls battle. Furthermore, the participants can register for 'Race-Taxi' driving sessions (GT1 and GT3) with one of the professionals of the Reiter Engineering race team. The program will be completed by several guided tours to explore the less-travelled roads of the Salzburgerland with one of the experienced Reiter Engineering tour guide.
